Once again, we'll be offering daily service to the Fair on SWT Route 682. For just $5 per person ages 5 and older, round-trip, you'll avoid the traffic congestion, the search for parking, the stress. Instead, just sit back in comfort and ride in style! 

 

Monday through Friday

  • From Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak in Eden Prairie (between Hwy. 212 and Hwy. 62)
  • Ticket sales begin at 7:30 am and continue until 7:00 pm (after that you can pay as you board the bus - exact change only).
  • Buses leave every half-hour from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
  • Buses return every half-hour beginning at 10:00 am - the last bus leaves the Fairgrounds at 11:00 pm.
  • Service during afternoon rush hour from 4 pm to 6 pm will likely take longer - you might want to go to or from the Fair before or after these hours.

Saturday, Sunday & Labor Day

  • From SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie AND SouthWest Village in Chanhassen
  • At SouthWest Station, be sure to park in the ramp only - if you park in the surface lots your car will be towed or booted!
  • Ticket sales begin at 7:00 am and continue until 7:00 pm (after that you can pay as you board the bus - exact change only)
  • Buses leave every half hour from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm
  • Buses return every half-hour beginning at 10:00 am - the last bus leaves the Fairgrounds at 11:00 pm. 

What does it cost?

 

Just $5 round-trip ages 5 and older

 

FAMILY FARE OF $20 - VALID FOR A FAMILY OF UP TO FIVE PEOPLE INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE ADULT BUT NO MORE THAN TWO ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 21

 

Please note that you'll need CASH (no credit cards or checks) to purchase your tickets. Go-To cards or any stored value cards cannot be used to purchase ride tickets to the State Fair. No "Free Ride" coupons will be accepted.

 

For more information on all of the events, attractions, and special offers at the State Fair, visit www.mnstatefair.org. Adult admission this year is $11. Discount admission tickets, ride/game tickets and Blue Ribbon Bargain Books are available at participating Cub Foods Stores through August 25. Metro Transit is selling bus tickets online for $4.00 round-trip until August 25. These tickets will be valid on SouthWest Transit State Fair service.
