First in the region, now available in the Apple Store, the “SouthWest Transit Schedule Information” app is now available in the Apple Store. Newly revised, this app provides up to date route information, as well as real-time arrival information for SouthWest Transit riders. Now included are real-time route maps!

When time changes are made on www.swtransit.org, the app will immediately notify the rider that new schedules are available and ready for download.  All the rider has to do is simply click refresh. 

The app also makes it easy for riders to save and check the scheduled times of their most commonly ridden routes through the app’s “favorites” feature.

A SWT app for Android phones is currently in development.  Its expected release date is June 2012.
