Beginning Monday, April 28, 2008 service currently provided by the SouthWest Transit Chaska Connector will be provided by Carver County Transit/CART, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

To reserve a ride, call Carver County Transit dispatch at 952-361-5260 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please call at least 24 hours in advance. The fare is $2.00, cash only.

If you will be connecting to a SouthWest Transit route, ask your Carver County Transit driver for a transfer. When connecting to an express route, you will need to pay an additional $.75 to bring the total ride fare to $2.75.

If you are transferring from SouthWest Transit to Carver County Transit, ask the SWT bus driver for a transfer. If you need Carver County Transit to meet a SWT bus, you will need to call ahead to reserve your ride. The SWT bus driver will not be able to contact Carver County Transit for you.
